Denmark's Justice Ministry shows whether agreement on renting of cells in Kosovo is under way

As the agreement with Denmark on the leased cells awaits green light from the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo, where it is expected to be ratified, a Danish media medium has reported a suspension of this agreement, reportedly due to lack of funds. After such reporting of the Danish media, there has been a reaction [...]
After such reporting of the Danish media there has been a response to the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and the minister, Albulen Haxhiu, who has denied something like that and has said the agreement with Denmark is valid and that a Danish delegation is expected to visit Kosovo during October.
Everything's fine with the rental agreement, they said from the Official Copenhagen. In a response to Gazeta Express from Denmark's Ministry of Justice, they have said that the agreement has neither been cut off nor thrown back nor suspended.
From the Danish Ministry of Justice, they say that any other reporting on the contrary is based on a misunderstanding that has occurred.
As everything is fine, from Denmark they say co-operation for implementation of the agreement continues.
“Dianmarca has not stopped, has not returned or suspended the cell agreement between Kosovo and Denmark. Any media reporting suggesting otherwise is based on a misunderstanding. A vast majority of the Danish Parliament approved the agreement earlier this year and co-operation with Kosovo on planning and realisation of the project continues”, said Denmark Justice Minister Mattias Tesfaye.
Under the signed agreement, Kosovo will grant at the exploitation of Denmark 300 prison cells, in which prisoners in Denmark will be brought to serve the sentence.
The agreement is signed on December 20th by Denmark's Justice Minister Nick Hakkkerup and Kosovo Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu through what <x0-letter of intent” was said.
From this agreement in the next ten years, Kosovo will benefit 210m euros.
Denmark's Justice Minister Nick Hakkkerup had indicated that his state has also sought help from other countries for the systemation of prisoners, but Kosovo, according to him, has been the first to provide assistance.
