LDK MP Hykmete Bajrami writes on the case of two girls missing in Pec and says that for this, the entire state should be taken to its feet.
She writes:
What?
Today a week, two Peja students have disappeared. The girls reportedly left their homes in the Sic and Trebovic village and headed to the University of CHAhaji Zeka” in Pec.
As a mother of two girls, this news has been terrifying to me, and from the moment I heard it, I don't think of anything else.
Amazingly, this event is going without much attention, without much state commitment, of state institutions.
Where's the Interior Minister?
Where is the Kosovo Police?
Where's the State Attorney?
Where is the Kosovo Intelligence Agency?
Where is the Kosovo Security Force?
I remember in 2003 when I was a student in England, two 13-year-olds disappeared. For weeks, until they have been found, the entire newspaper has talked about nothing but the two missing girls.
To us, in this case there is silence in almost all institutions.
In this situation, the Interior Minister, Chief State Prosecutor, Police Director, along with the AKI Chief and even with the KSF commander, would have to hold daily conferences. To show what institutions are doing in the case.
This is a painful event. I am sure that as long as the girls are found for families, the pain is worse than death.
I call on all of you wherever you are to contribute to the dawn of the case.
And the state institutions, all along with the media, walked until the two missing girls were found.
