Albulen Haxhiu tears: Sleep makes me comfortable with Astrit Dehar

She has said that the Dehar case distracts her to the extent that she can't even sleep at ease.

I consider the Dehar case to be the most serious case in post-war Kosovo, because in 2016, when there were attempts by power at the time, to declare VV and terrorist, VV activists had been arrested for actions all by someone else. Among them was activist Astrit Dehari, only for the fact that he thought differently from others, at the time it was Demarketation and Zajednica”, the Minister Haxhiu has declared.

She has expressed her conviction that activist Dehar could be killed when other prisoners had not yet been on vacation during the Kritik day.

I believe that Astrit Dehar could have been killed before his fellow prison vacationing”, she said.

She has also clarified the reasons why her ministry has ordered inspection of the actions of officials who were taken in the case that day.

And I ordered an inspection at the beginning of this year, because I didn't want to make a decision without facts. We have ordered that officials who have been on that day and the days to come be seen as having carried out the same tasks and responsibilities properly. The report by the Inspectorate indicates that serious duty violations are identified there. The inspections were conducted by three Justice Ministry inspectors”, she has declared further.

On the other hand, she has said that one of the most serious violations was that inspectors had received the records of the prison that day, in front of the Kosovo Police.

“Inspectors have filed that the first offense that was made that the inspector and others who investigated the case at the time took the cameras, the prison records, in front of the police and they really had no right to take cameras through the USB. They could see, but they can't. The main violation is that they took the recordings before the police,”, Haxhi said at <x2. > DPS at Fidan”.

Haxhiu has said she is convinced that the then justice minister, Gift Hoxha, was the commanding officer of taking the prison recordings.

However, according to Haxhiu, there are other elements of wrongdoing.

We've considered that there are criminal elements here, so we've sent him to State Prosecutor”, the justice minister has declared.

According to Haxhiu, that Astrit Dehar has been killed, it is also testified by the Swiss Institute's report and the report of two independent experts.

We've always said that Astrit Dehar was killed. I consider the reports, especially the Swiss Institute and that of two experts, have estimated it is not suicide. The Swiss Institute's report has even ascertained the involvement of the third person”, Haxhiu has declared.

Haxhiu has said that with the support of the Dehari family and the Prosecutor's Council, international investigators could be invited to assist local institutions for the final dawn of this case. /
