Kosovo has reacted quickly by condemning Russia's unprotested and unwarranted invasion and expressing full solidarity with the people of Ukraine. Kosovo immediately lined up with US and EU sanctions in support of Ukraine. Kosovo showed its generosity and dedication to democracy by opening the doors to Ukrainians who needed housing, including journalists, so that they could continue to fulfill their vital role in keeping Ukraine's press free and independent”, writes Ambassador Havenier among others.
