Officials at the main customs office in Krefeld have searched hotel, construction and taxi companies in Krefeld, Nettal and the Viersen district. The search was done under suspicion of undeclared work, and in this case they have found numerous violations, writes rp-online.de.
As a result, a restaurant has been officially closed after seven persons with illegal status from Albania, who had no residence permits and no work permits. They have all been handed over to the immigration office for further clarification.
A total of five of the seven illegal Albanians were employed in a hotelroom, broadcasts albinfo.ch. The owner of this club has hired two other workers who were not yet registered for social insurance.
