According to the prime minister, the country is in other conditions compared to those of EU countries dependent on Russia for energy.
“Albania is very unique. We don't need Russian gas. So we respond strongly to Russia. Our story has been such that we have no sense of Russia at all. In Soviet empires, Stalin's monument was kindly removed in the 1970 ' s, while we kept it after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Our energy production is on a water supply basis. We have made a courageous decision not to touch prices for family members and small businesses. We are fully covering this gap that is serious for the Albanian budget. We've made it to”, Rama said.
Speaking of the war in Ukraine, the prime minister did not hesitate to mention the EU issue of vaccines against Ovidius, which, according to Rama, non-member states were forgotten.
