Rama progress announces co-ordination offices established for Diaspora

Pristina Chairman Progress Rama has announced that today the decision has been made to establish the co-ordination office for Diaspora within the capital. Rama said that opening the local diaspora co-ordination office was a need and an old request, adding that he is meeting another [...] today.

Rama, through a Facebook text, said that opening the co-ordinating office for the local diaspora was a need and an old request, adding that today it is fulfilling one of their promises.

According to him, this co-ordination office, which will be functional very quickly, will include in itself these activities:

3.1. Organising events aimed at promoting new business partnerships, increasing exports and attracting foreign investment from the diaspora to the capital. Answers diaspora questions related to the development of their business and investment in Pristina;

3.2. Offering advice to facilitate administrative procedures and services

data from the municipality, especially during the huge influx of visitors from the diaspora during the holiday season;

3.3. Periodic development and distribution of important information content with

importance for diaspora regarding developments in the capital, with particular emphasis on economic but cultural issues;

3.4. Developing a mechanism to enable transfer of knowledge and skills from

diaspora professionals in various municipal departments (can have different activities in this direction as training, mentoring, seminars, project assessments, facilitating ties with institutions, respective organisations. abroad);

3.5. Set to exploit the relationship and influence of diaspora members in their residential countries to promote tourism, local products and other economic sectors of interest to the capital. Members of the diaspora can easily play the role of ambassador of municipalities in various fields in residential countries;

3.6. Establishing the inclusive database of Diaspora members from the capital;

3.7. Initializing the creation of philanthropic platforms in Diaspora, with the aim of providing financial support to capital's interest causes.
