Thanks to your direct participation and the UN mediation, the issue of Ukrainian grain supply by Black Sea ports has been resolved. The shipments have already begun. I want to thank you for this and for the fact that at the same time this has not prevented the supply of Russian goods and Russian fertilizers to the” world markets, Putin said.
On July 22nd, Ukraine and Russia agreed to an agreement that would allow the continuation of Ukrainian grain exports from the Black Sea. The agreement was mediated by the United Nations and Turkey in Istanbul.
For months, Russia had blocked the lock on these ports, causing millions of tons of Ukraine's wheat to not be transported to target locations. Ukraine and Russia had accused each other of mini-water. /Periscopi/
