Obadiah accepts Kurt's invitation

The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, has accepted the invitation of Prime Minister Albin Kurti for the informative meeting about dialogue with Serbia, which will be held on Tuesday. Kurt's invitation comes late, but since I believe national issues should be on daily policy, I will accept this invitation. I have expected a more transparent and comprehensive process about the dialogue process. So far, the only and detailed information, the LDK has accepted only by international allies who have consistently stood by Kosovo. In this direction, I would like to thank the American envoy for the Balkans in particular, Mr. Escobar, US ambassador to Pristina. Horvenier; as well as EU envoy Mr. Lajcak. In meetings with them, I have reconfirmed full support for reciprocity measures; as I have given full support for the dialogue process itself, he wrote.

Dear citizens,
Kurt's invitation comes late, but since I believe national issues should be on daily policy, I will accept this invitation.
Lajcak. In meetings with them, I have reconfirmed full support for reciprocity measures; as I have given full support to the dialogue process itself.
The Kosovo public, while still unaware of this process; as the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo remains unaware. Two weeks after the meeting in Brussels, the prime minister has chosen to inform the political spectrum in the country. We have always criticized this closed approach even when this prime minister shared the opposition with us.
Our position for dialogue is clear and unchanged. We believe dialogue is the national interest of Kosovo, and not the last priority, as I believe the prime minister has already learned. We believe that through dialogue Kosovo should reach towards the final agreement with mutual recognition at its core. We also believe that the fragmented dialogue, on technical subjects and not on the entire framework, is in Serbia's interest even when partial victories are achieved for us. Today Kosovo must sit and insist on the final agreement, with the US and the EU as its guarantor. It is the prime minister's duty to exercise his constitutional powers in completing this vital process for our state. The LDK will support any final agreement that meets the three undisputed criteria: 1) the full respect of the Kosovo Constitution; 2) the preservation of the country's territorial integrity; and 3) ensuring mutual recognition. This stance will make it clear to Prime Minister Kurti.
Dear citizens,
We have supported decisions aimed at expanding legitimacy and protecting the country's sovereignty. From the referendum topic to reciprocity, the LDK has provided clear and immediate support to domestic communication. We have conveyed the same message of support to every communication with the international factor.
This support from the ruling party's expeditions has been used with ill-information purposes, as far as the impression was given that the resolution is done with Serbia, but with the opposition in the country; while by the critical voices of society our support is seen as a sign of weak opposition. Aware of the criticism and disagreement over our approach, unlike our polarising past that this power has always fed, we have chosen to face sovereignty and legitimacy towards Serbia not to make the national issue in Kosovo. We perceive the state and power at the core of our political action. Not that it's marked in the past, but we're not like them, we don't want to be like them.
However, we expect this national interest of ours, the country's institutions to exercise in full co-ordination dialogue with our international allies in particular with the United States of America, and that any deviation from this goal, any delay in this direction, is of great consequence to our country and the Euro-Atlantic future that Kosovo is targeting.
