Ex-Sv. Minister of Education at Kurti Government text girls: Don't quit schooling because of the veil

Amid the debate that has divided society in half, sociologist Jusuf Thaci has a message for girls, and their parents tell them not to quit schooling because of the veil. Sharing a story of Muhammad's action, known as God's envoy to Muslims, Thaci appeals to Kosovo girls [...]

Sharing a story about Muhammad's move, known as God's envoy to Muslims, Thaci urges Kosovo girls not to wear the headscarf before their schooling.

He says it's against the headscarf stop at school, for those who voluntarily place it, but says that until this issue is settled institutionally, girls should have a priority of schooling.

“ ...if we take this example/learn from the Prophet and make it clear in the situation we're talking about, then the solution to the dilemma of these girls in Kosovo who are obliged to choose between schooling or tissue, it's clear that they have to continue schooling even if they're forced to give up the veil, because schooling is far more important than the headscarf”, Thaci wrote.

The Prophet has solved Dilema: Don't leave your schooling because of your tissue!

Until others complete the “debat” (pronounced document) as to whether or not the headscarf should be allowed for public school students in Kosovo and until this issue is finally resolved with legislation, I have a message for girls (but also for their parents) that faces the dilemma of choosing between schooling or headscarf.

My message is simple: Don't leave your schooling because of your tissue!

And whoever is opposed to it - let him follow the example of the Noble Messenger of Allah.

Remember the treaty of Hudibia between the Prophet and the people of Mecca. The Prophet had made a covenant with the polytheists. He signed agreements with people who had been killed, tortured, expelled, and prevented Muslims from returning to their homes in Mecca. Not only that! The prophet proposed that in the text of this agreement be written “The All-merciful, the All-merciful” and “Muhamedi, the messenger of Allah”, but the Kurdish party disagreed with these because they did not accept God as God or Muhammad as God's messenger.

But in order to reach the signing of a peace agreement and certain rights for Muslims, in his wisdom and goodness, the prophet gave up and agreed with the Quraish party to remove those parts from the document of the agreement and to be changed and written in accordance with the demand of the Kurds and pre-Islamic Arab tradition. As a result, the agreement between the prophets and the Kurds of Mecca was reached and signed.

The prophet didn't give up, neither did he give up, because he was Yahweh's prophet. He simply offered us a model example to show us that others have the right to disagree with us, that they have the right to reject what we believe and what we are, that they have the right to maintain their faith and not become like us. All we can and should ask of them, with wisdom and goodness, are peace and the realization of our rights.

So if we take this example/learn from the Prophet and make it clear in the situation we are talking about, then the solution to the dilemma of these girls in Kosovo who are obliged to choose between schooling or headscarves is clear: they have to continue schooling even if they are forced to give up the veil, because schooling is far more important than the veil.

P.S.:

1. Of course, I am against the veil's ban on those who set it free and consciously (but the free will and total consciousness eats a lot of debate, as well as the debate of the other level, not campaigns, superficialism, militaristism, fanaticism, absoluteism, complex mercenaries we're seeing from both sides.) However, until this issue is legally and institutionally resolved, girls do not sacrifice schooling because of the veil.

2. If there are those who say to themselves Muslims and when they put in the scales of schooling on one side and the headscarf on the other, and in this case, it doesn't weigh much more heavily to you than the headscarf, then they don't even know the abc of Islam and have not eaten about the value and importance that Islam gives to knowledge/school.

3. For those who ask me and write about why I am not included in the so-called debate about (not) letting the headscarves in Kosovo public schools, I have an answer: I follow the suggestion of the Prophet, who said: “Perhaps the Muslim's good fortune will be livestock, with which he will go to the tops of the mountains and the places where the water is collected (lud), fleeing his religion from the confusion” (Sahili-Buhari, 19). Because you've become almost everyone.
