Defence Minister Armend Mehaj has been conducting a telephone conversation today with General Wesley Clark on recent geopolitical developments, with focus on Kosovo's role in challenging circumstances for regional peace, security and stability, and beyond.

In a Facebook post, Mehaj has said that Kosovo and its people do not forget the support of General Clark in difficult times.

General Wesley Clark's glad tidings of our successes are great encouragement and particular motivation to continue even more powerful towards our goals”, he wrote.

Meheaj has thanked General Clark and the American state for their unhurt assistance to Kosovo as the most pro-American country in the world.

General Clark commended me for the wide and successful spectrum of our commitments, expressing, in this case, full support and non-enforced by professional experience and its authority to the Ministry of Defence”, Mehaj wrote.
