“As you know, the scheduled meeting on July 19th failed because official Belgrade refused to take place, demanding that such a meeting be postponed for more than a month. Prime Minister Kurti has consistently expressed his readiness for the next well prepared meeting. We are in constant communication with the European Union and if there is a next meeting, it is expected to take place in the third week of this month”, Kryeziu told Koha.net.
Meanwhile, Serbian media report that the meeting will be held on 18 August in Brussels.
Vuciq said he expects nothing of this meeting with Kurt. On the other hand, Kurti said Monday that Vuciq had likely postponed the July meeting to prepare for the rise of tensions in the north.
