Kurti spoke of “egoism” of “carerism” within LV and within the Government, while said collective work is needed and “people who can work without creating problems between the group because of their egos”.
“The ministries of deputy ministers in the Government of the Republic of Kosovo are not chief”, Kurti said.
He said his ministers and political staff know they will be assessed and that they may not be in the same position.
“Ministers, deputy ministers and all political staff know there will be changes and will be appreciated. They will not be taken for media bases of one person or another, but will be taken for an assessment on the results of the work. It is not enough to say that the deputy minister of Vetevendosje is not stealing, but it must certainly be accompanied by results according to our government programme and our work plan”, Kurti said.
The prime minister demanded that ministers and deputy ministers come out on the ground more frequently and meet with citizens and not leave jobs in half.
It is not enough to say that we are working harder than past governments. All ministers, deputy ministers should go on the ground more often to meet with citizens who are affecting their ministry's scope, should solve concrete problems, come with new and developmental ideas within our programme, and especially have their application to the end. We can't start a job that we don't finish and we can't leave jobs in half”, Kurti said.
So far there have been changes to the Executive, and Kurti says they have been missing because of other problems.
“We didn't want to deal with changes of ministers and political staff during this time because we had other problems, but we know that no one, nobody is and nobody feels immune”, Kurti said.
