Prime Minister Albin Kurti commenting on meeting with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, who will be held on August 18th in Brussels, has said dialogue should be for legally binding agreement, for full normalisation with mutual recognition.
Kurt made these comments after a Parliament event for the International Youth Day footnote.
“I have readiness and interest that dialogue in Brussels, in addition to being principled and content at the same time, is not dialogue for dialogue, but dialogue for legally binding agreement, for full normalisation with mutual recognition of government. But you have to understand that the deal is made with the other side and in this case it's up to the other side whether there's going to be a deal, but as far as my readiness and concern are indisputable and firm,” said Kurti.
He added that reciprocity is the healthy and normal act of good neighbourly relations.
“We are making sovereign decisions, but I have also said at the June 15th of last year, even on July 19th of last year, that the agreement is stable and applicable when there are sound principles inside, reciprocity is the healthy and normal act of good neighbourly relations”, he added.
