Prime Minister Albin Kurti has hosted a group of students and young people from the mine, members of Albanian Youth Organisation Mannheim/Heidelberg (AYO), with whom he has talked and exchanged ideas about how they can contribute to Kosovo.
According to the ZKM communiqué, the meeting discussed the services that Kosovo institutions offer to the exile and possible projects in the future through which bridges of co-operation between youth and Kosovo could be built in exile.
“Prime Minister Kurti stressed that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo recognises the mrgata as a factor for the country's development and aims to boost the commitment of the drub professionals to the drafting of development and strategic policies, in policy implementation, as well as for joint investments with local companies”, the communiques say.
He cited government initiatives for a national programme for transfer of knowledge and experience from exile to Kosovo, and deepening co-operation with Kosovo institutions in the fields of education and innovation.
The prime minister said that we are changing governance for good, but it may take a little longer for the ébrain-drainʹ to start changing the course for the better and eventually become a strong twist of APUrain-gain”, said further in the communique.
Having right people and professionals in the right places is essential, so we are very interested as governments to attract talented professionals, both inside and abroad, he stressed.
Young people from the exile announced the prime minister's activities. They said AYO is a comprehensive organization that networks not only individuals but also student organisations. The association co-operates and maintains contacts with representatives from the student organisations of Stutgart, Duisburg-Essen, Düsseldorf, Switzerland and London.
