Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Menli Krasniqi has said that Prime Minister Albin Kurti is functioning on paranoid and politically angry imaginations, blocking the budget for Kosovo citizens and municipalities for capital investments, while on the other hand talking about war.

“Lost in the chaos of the ruling inefficiency, without plan and authority, Prime Minister Kurti, instead of dealing with improving the lives of citizens, what they voted for, he is blocking all municipal projects, not sharing the necessary budget and speaking on the other hand, opposition leader Memli Krasniqi said.

He said that in the tour of municipalities that have been held in recent weeks, where almost all are led by leaders who belong to opposition parties at the central level, he has seen real difficulties that have local levels in implementing capital projects, due to neglect by Kurti Government.

The “those projects that have found application are made with the self-entity means of municipalities or the donations the mayors have managed to receive from international organisations. Now, if the Government does not take into account the Kosovo Commission Association's request to release the second Business Circle as soon as possible before September 1st, in the pre-term when municipalities must hand over the budget for approval to the Communists Framework, it is deliberately stalling the realisation of many projects in the interest of citizens throughout Kosovo”, Krasniqi said.

Header The PDK has also stressed that Prime Minister Kurti and his ministers must change this approach.

The elections are complete and the mayors rule the same for all their citizens, indiscriminately. Not like this Government that only serves clientele, family members and their supporters!”, Krasniqi said.
