Dawn Walker's body, 52, was found in a field in Lightcliffe, West Yorkshire, four days after she married Thomas Nutt, 46, on October 27th last year.
Nut hit and then killed Mrs. Walker just hours after their marriage. Then he broke his legs so that he could place his corpse in a suitcase, which he later threw over a fence before hiding it in the bushes in a field where her bones were later discovered.
Nutt lied to her family, convincing her that she had disappeared because of mental problems and asked her little daughter to help find her, even though 52-year-old had long died.
He had searched his victim for years and isolated him from family members”, her sister said at Bradford Crown Court.
Nutt was convicted of murder earlier this month. He confessed to his wife's murder, but he said it was due to negligence because he had no intention of causing her serious harm.
