MP The PDK, Hisen Berisha, has cited three reasons why Kosovo should not have electricity reductions either during the winter, writes Periscope.
Through a post in his Facebook account, he has said that poilts in Ukraine do not affect this situation.
According to him, this is due to ill-management of the electromagnetic system and wrong planning.
His full post:
There's no reason for electricity reductions, no winter reductions.
Lack of electricity in Kosovo is due to poor management of the electromagnetic system and wrong planning. So there is no impact on war in Ukraine, which means that there are no reductions, nor in winter season, for these reasons:
1. Kosovo has the first fossil fuel for its thermoelectrics (the tholule) and there are no gas or oil thermoelectrics where we would need to import this raw material for energy production.
2. Kosovo for balance and transmission of energy no longer hangs on its neighbour Serbia, because Kosovo is now in a bloc with Albania and has functionally decoupled its 400th decomposor KV and the potential power transmission is sufficient.
3. Kosovo has added about 250 MW green electricity, which has enough, increases consumption from economic growth.
