The nine barricades, which were placed by local Serbs in this part, left yesterday. And with their removal, the Government of Kosovo, as it had pledged, postponed implementation of the two decisions for reciprocity of identifications with Serbia and the one for vehicle license plates by 1 September. This executive decision was made after the request from the United States.
The member of the Parliamentary Commission for Security Affairs and Protection from the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Hisen Berisha, in a proposal for Telegrafi said tensions created in this part of the country were programmed between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vuciq, with mediating the European Union's emitary for Pristina-Belgrade dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.
“These situations serve to preserve the status quo and prevent the reach of the final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, which have been struggling with each other since 1912”, Berisha said, while accusing the Kurti Government of “cenisation” of the state of Kosovo.
He warned the collapse of Kurti Government in September, as he said, all parties should work hard to remove “cenisation” as policymaking option.
In September, the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo, I believe, will carry out all the voting procedures of this government, will bring down the government. We as assemblyaries of all parties have to work hard to get rid of the censorship. That's why I'm optimistic!”, the opposition MP said away.
