Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has met with the ambassador of the United States of America to Belgrade, Christopher Hill.
This meeting comes, a week before September 1st, date when the Government of Kosovo's decision on reciprocity in documents and plates will take effect.
On July 31st, there were tensions in northern Kosovo, local Serbs blocked roads leading to the Jarinje and Brnjak border points.
Despite that, Vucic says “wants to maintain peace and stability”.
” A concrete and meaningful conversation with Ambassador Hill about the situation after the last round of talks in Brussels. I reiterated Serbia's consistent stance, which continues to make all efforts to find a compromise solution to maintain peace and stability”, has written Vuciq in the Instagram.
And Ambassador Hill has not yet been declared.
