In the response given by European Union for Foreign Policy press official Paloma Hall Cabalero, Lajcak's visit to Kosovo, but also in Serbia, EU High Representative Josep Borrell reportedly requested.
” at last Thursday's Summit of High-level Dialogue, both sides agreed to continue discussions. Following last week's meetings, High Representative Borrell has asked EU Special Representative Miroslav Lajcak to travel to Kosovo and Serbia this week (24-25 August 2022) in order to advance towards a mutually satisfactory solution to avoid new tensions on the ground. In his mission, he will be joined by the US Special Representative for the Western Balkans and Deputy Assistant Secretary Gabriel Escobar”, said in response.
