The election campaign has been focused mainly on domestic issues, as Kenya is facing rampant corruption, high unemployment has increased as a result of this cost of living, Al Jazeera reports.
The two main candidates for the successor of President Uhuru Kenyatte are Rajla Odinga and William Ruto.
Both have pledged to address the issue of inequality.
