Nagavci has said the strikes threats are unacceptable and damage to the children's learning process.
The September 1st strike threat, the first day of teaching for 2022, 2023 is unacceptable. What will be achieved by any strike is only damage to the learning process for our children. The results in education are not what we want. It takes a lot of work and commitment from everyone, in order to have positive changes”, Nagavci writes.
“Those who want the country's best, the best future for children and joint successes should invite commitment, not strikes, blockades and obstacles. As Government and the Ministry of Education, we are working with increased intensity in all directions, in legislation, improving school infrastructure, supporting teachers and students, and we don't intend to stop. Even legislation regulating wages and others is being made and will become as best possible. Time is for work, and most of all, no one has the right to deny children the right to education”, she added.
