The British Embassy in Kosovo has said that tomorrow's meeting, expected to take place between Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, is a good opportunity to reduce tensions and normalise relations.

Kurti and Vuciq will meet Thursday morning in Brussels, where the EU high representative will be present.

The special envoy of the United Kingdom for the Western Balkans, Stuart Peach, spoke yesterday with the prime minister of Kosovo and the Serbian president, underlining the United Kingdom's concern for the rise in tensions and hot language of the last few days, has written the United Kingdom Embassy in Kosovo.

The “leaders now have the opportunity and responsibility in their talks in Brussels to put their citizens first, further strengthen the resulting achievements in dialogue and take important steps towards normalising relations”.
