KEK reports that good “co-operation is continuing”, while stressing that they have also secured 100 megavats of power from 1:00 to 22:00.
KEK's announcement stresses that electricity from KESH is being obtained from the amount stored.
“Despite the fact that responsibility for supplying universal consumers (FSHU) under the license is exclusively of the public supplier, KEK, thanks to bilateral co-operation with KESH, from the deposited amount (over 120,000 MW/h) which was preemptive to return to Kosovo during the winter season, has managed to provide electricity for certain hours (at peak time) when local consumption in Kosovo is marking up. More precisely, KEK yesterday dt: 15,08,2022 of KESH has secured the 100MW/h amount from 2: 00 p.m. to 24:00, (at a total of 1100 MW/h), and for today dt: 16.08.2022, KEK has also secured the amount of 100MW/h from 10:00 to 10:00. (in the total 1200MW/h)”, says the announcement.
KEK says “has applied to KESH, which is based on the capacities this state has available, will continue in the coming days, or until responsible activists fulfill their obligations under the” license.
