Deaths, most of the fall of trees, were reported in Italy and Austria and on the French island of Corsica, the BBC writes.
Heavy rain and winds destroyed the camps on the island, while in Venice the damages have been many.
Storms follow weeks of heat and drought for most of the continent.
In Corsica, winds that blew up to 224 km/h uprooted trees and damaged mobile homes.
Authorities there said a 13-year-old girl was killed by a tree that crashed into a camping camp.
A man died in a similar incident, and an elderly woman was killed when her car crashed from the breakaway roof of a hut on the beach.
Two more people died at sea.
French Interior Minister Gerald Darman has arrived at Corsica to inspect the damage and confirmed the sixth death in that area.
Tens of other people have been injured on land and sea. /Euronews/
