Osmani has called for regoros investigation and immediate response from justice bodies to perpetrators.
The inhuman act of sexual violation of the 11-year-old minor. I request a rigorous investigation into the law of the chief of the work.
With greater severity and determination, we must unanimously repeat that no one is above the law. The law should be harsh with any such wrongdoer, especially in cases such as this one when children at the rape are”, Osman wrote.
Sexual intercourse, as well as all forms of violence against girls and women, poses a threat to all and disseminates a serious plague in our society. Hence, the leaders of these works must receive the right and immediate response from the legal organs. We must not allow our country to be insecure for women's daughters”, the president has added.
Osmani says that for years in Kosovo there has been an equal specimen of the lives of women and men, and this says he has encouraged perpetrators and rapists.
Unfortunately, for years, we have seen in certain cases the equal failure of women and men's lives, the impeachment of the victim, not the rapers, to cases of even lower sentences than those that are provided by law. And this has only encouraged wrongdoers of the bully. Therefore, I request from justice bodies to eliminate overall sexism and inequality in judicial decisions, as well as from security institutions to increase the level of protection for girls and women who are victims of violence”, Osmani wrote.
The president says it is time for legislative changes that harden the sentences against the perpetrators.
It's time too, to proceed with legislative changes that exacerbate the penalties against the perpetrators further. It is our collective responsibility to make sure that all children are guaranteed dignified childhood and to eliminate violence on gender grounds”, Osmani wrote.
