Turkey's Foreign Affairs Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has intervened with a call following recent events in northern Kosovo.
Cavusoglu has spoken over the phone with Kosovo Foreign Affairs Minister Donika Grovala and Serbia Foreign Affairs Minister Nikola Sakkovic
I talked to my Serbian and Kosovo counterparts about the latest tension. Peace and stability in the Balkans have always been a priority for Turkey”, Cavusoglu wrote on Twitter
Turkish top diplomat said the new “tensions will not help anyone”.
“Turkey is willing to do everything necessary to reduce tension”, Cavusoglu's response said.
