The event occurred last Friday at a supermarket in Lagadis, Thessaloniki. The value of the product Albania had received totaled 15.26 euros. A business worker notified the police as 60-year-old refused to control him.
The 60-year-old's defence argued that acts have been committed with reduced attributes and cited his recent mental health problems, due to which he has damaged perception. This claim has been confirmed by his relative and his employer, who have been questioned in the quality of witnesses. They also reported that the accused has been working at a cheese factory for over 25 years and has never had problems with authorities.
He himself, in the quest for forgiveness, said he intended to pay, yet was found guilty of lowering the prosecution, without knowing the extenuating circumstances, while the plea for attempted petty theft was refused. The 60-year-old appealed and was released. /Abcnews. al
