“We are working within the framework of international co-operation at the International Space Station. Of course, we will close all obligations with our partners, but the decision to leave the 2024 station has been made”, Putin told Borisov, the Kremlin has announced.
I think that during this time, we will begin establishing the Russian orbit station”, Borisov said.
Russia's withdrawal will be a shock to the ISS, a model of international co-operation for decades. The announcement came as the war in Ukraine has deeply hit Russia's relations with the United States and Europe. /Periscopi/
