The imam of the Podujevo village of Lupc, Zeqir Berisha, was beaten last night by several people.

Indexline sources indicate that Berisha has been beaten in the mosque, where he exercises office in the village of Lupc.

Sources suggest that Imam has been hit by strong means, while his condition is severe.

Always according to these sources, persons allegedly attacking Imam Berisha have been arrested by Kosovo Police.

Three brothers have been arrested as suspects in the attack on Imam. Shkodran, Behar and Athar and Murturi are those arrested for the attack on Lupchi's Imam.

The reasons for Imam's attack are not known yet.
