Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama will pay a visit to NATO headquarters in Brussels on 13 July, where he will be received by Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
According to the agenda published on the Alliance's official page, after the face-to-face meeting, Stoltenberg and Rama will also have a joint press conference (13:15).
The visit has been warned earlier by Prime Minister Rama. Between him and the NATO chief, in addition to discussing the situation created by Russian aggression in Ukraine and co-ordinating co-operation between the allies, it is expected to be discussed even a new coalition base in Albania.
Earlier, Rama has informed in Brussels of the Albanian government's proposal for the establishment of a NATO military base at the new port of Durres in Porto Romano.
