Citizens from Kosovo and Albania for eight days are moving to the two countries' border crossings without having to register.

Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama today shared in social networks images from the mileical ranges of vehicles at the Morina Border Point, which were created annually during the summer months.

“The first borderless operations between Albania and Kosovo, and so from now on, annually and for the entire year”, Rama says.

On 20 June, the Government of Albania and Kosovo signed the agreement on lifting controls at the border for official holiday weekends. The agreement between the two states has enabled until September 30th for each weekend and official holiday, citizens not to be registered by Kosovo Police and Albania. /Atsh
