We've worked hard to reach this historic moment. EU membership has been one of Albania's goals since the collapse of the regime. It was inspiration and motivation for dramatic change.
This transformation process has indeed left no stone unturned. As for the content of the screening process. We've developed a long process with the Commission. The chapter discussion has been on the focus.
Our efforts to strengthen administrative capacity. Although we know that a very demanding process awaits us, we are ready, our determination is steadfast.
In the context of the new methodology, we have implemented an unprecedented reform in justice. We have a lot left to do, but the formal opening of negotiations generates motivation and determination”, the minister said.
