In an interview that Geoana gave for the KoSSev portal, she said she saw no possibility that the situation in the north would escape in terms of security, as well as she said. The KSF can only go to that part of Kosovo, in consultation with KFOR.
Deputy Secretary-General of NATO, Mircea Geoana, has declared that the only way forward for Kosovo and Serbia is dialogue and compromise, and that NATO fully supports it. He has reiterated that KSF can only go north with agreement with KFOR commander, reiterated that KFOR is implementing the mandate received in Kosovo, based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244.
