A month of detention for 62-year-old Podujevo sexually molested 17-year-old

The 30-day detention measure of D.B. has been scheduled.

He allegedly sexually molested a minor.

The announcement was issued by the Pristina Foundation Court.

The case occurred in Podujevo on July 25th.

“The judge of the preliminary procedure, the state prosecutor's request for the appointment of detention action against defendants D.B. has approved it as a base, and the same has assigned the detention measure to a length of 1 (a) month, from the moment of its ban, defendants D. B, the detention measure was assigned on the basis of Article 187 paragraph 1 subparagraph 1.1 and 1.2 points 1.2.1 and 1.2.3 of the KPPRC”.

“In the case of the detention appointment, the Court has taken into account the heavy burden of criminal acts, the way and circumstances in which criminal acts allegedly committed against the sensitive minor victim and with the release of the defendant there is a risk of running away, with the aim of avoiding criminal responsibility, so the detention measure for now is the only preventable measure that will prevent the defendant from repeating the same criminal or similar act”.
