McDonald's Corporation left Russia earlier this year, selling one licensed all the restaurants they owned. Under the new name Vcusno&Tochka, 50 restaurants opened in and around Moscow in June.
But consumers have complained of mold in their hamburgers, according to Ksenia Sobchak, a famous opposition figure in Russia.
Besides, there were also <x0-foot insects” found.
McDonald's was the first American fast-food restaurant to be opened in the Soviet Union.
McDonald's decision to leave came as other American giants, including Coca-Cola, Pepsi and Starbucks suspended or closed their activities in Russia in the face of Western sanctions. /Periscopi/
