Light Tower relates the call to Kastriot Myftarain two hours before suicide: He feared being killed

The publisher and publicist Rudicem Tower was among the last to talk to Kastriot Myftaraj yesterday before the analyst committed suicide by jumping out of the palace where he lived on Ali Demi Street. In an exclusive interview for Balkanweb, the Tower says yesterday's conversation has been focused on the health situation and Myftaright, which was beginning to be treated by a bad disease and is considering continuing treatment outside Albania.
According to the Tower, Myftaraj was afraid to be treated in Albania because of his public standings.
You were one of the people who often talked to Kastriot Myftarian. Did you communicate yesterday?
He was communicating with me from time to time, but very close, we were not. During this time Dr. Mentor Petrella asked me what we would do because he had a diagonosis for Kastriot. He used to get a sleep in the coffee shop. I think if he had a tumor he wouldn't have been so aggressive. He thought about her treatment and asked me about it. I had given him a few options. He got out of the hospital, and he thought about how to get out. He didn't tell me much, he kept them to himself. Two days ago I was in Saranda, he called me and asked me about my pulse. I gave him some instructions about what I was doing for a pulse. He asked me yesterday too, but he said he had been quiet. By the 10th, he was going to Switzerland. I don't know what happened. I can't imagine anything. But he was quiet.
During these days there were people who suspected the event. As Kastriot Frasher or Alfred Cako said, he couldn't kill himself...
I can't get into this discussion. Anything can happen. He may not even be disfellowshipped. He was diagnosed with cancer, not depletion. And if you see him from his position, he was a very cultured, very clever journalist. No one read more than him in this country. From time to time, it exploded. I didn't agree to many things with him. People like that contradiction have told society the problems are open.
Let's go back to the conversation that you had yesterday two hours before he went to the palace. What conversation did you have, noticed any signs?
He consulted with me. I told them I had problems with the tension and I care very much. That's why he asked me. Kastriot was the grandson of Archile Bot's wife. Dr. Bot has assisted me and saved my life. This has tied us to Kastriot. I was initially reluctant to associate with him. He was a complex man, but I saw things I didn't see in other people. The discussion yesterday was due to health reasons. He wasn't much with me. He was with other people. He seemed like a very strong man, warrior. I couldn't imagine killing that man himself. It was very airtight in a personal way. I can't say he was killed, that requires a technical, psychological, sociological analysis. He was looking for a way out, I know that.
Why did he want to be cured outside?
There was a feeling they could kill here because of his attitudes. I don't doubt he might have been killed, but I'm surprised the act was too strong, he was a fighter. That surprise me. BW
