Krasniqi: Winter won't be easy, Kurt government is making citizens' lives worse.

According to him, this is due to the fact that prices have risen to over 100% and there is no concrete action by the current government on this issue.

From visits to all Kosovo municipalities, head of Krasniqi's PDK says one of the main threats is to raise prices.

“Dimri is coming and will not be easy at all. Since autumn every parameters, every economic warning indicates that we will have an escalation in the negative sense of the economic situation, and this will directly affect and heavily affected the social situation. If the government does not take concrete action according to proposals we have already given and which can be discussed will make common decisions in the Kosovo Parliament I fear that we will have a more difficult situation than we have this year and it is not easy even today. On every side of Kosovo where we are visiting municipalities today one of the main threats is to raise prices. It is unaffordable that Kosovo families have a month-on-month bond, and it will get heavier because this government has neither the will nor the vision unfortunately nor the ability to take right actions. While we had won at two levels of Kosovo's judiciary our subject to annul the completely unfair and illegal decision to raise energy tariffs, while the Supreme Court has now turned it into power we will have a much harder winter, and especially if it is a cold winter, as projected to be”, he told EconomyOnline.

The fact that fuels such as the cloak, wood has increased prices since July to over 100% we do not give hope that they will later be released because no action is being undertaken for such a thing to happen. That's why this Government is just looking at the situation and not taking action and rejecting even the trust is really showing a government not that it's facilitating, but rather is making the lives of citizens weighed down”, Krasniqi said.

Among other things, Krasniqi stressed that since receiving the mandate early 2021, this Government has almost suspended foreign policy, stressing that there are only tourist visits, but no concrete results.

According to him, Kosovo has foreign minister, but the effects are equal to zero, the EO reports.

This government, unfortunately, has almost suspended its foreign policy since the beginning of 2021. Our foreign policy has been reduced in some almost tourist visits by the prime minister, president and foreign minister, and there are no concrete results. Let there be no new recognition, and no membership, but also the only application made to the Council of Europe for what we have encouraged and supported a couple of months ago has been done without co-ordination with the main supporters of Kosovo and turns out there will be no necessary success at the time needed. It seems this too will be a lost chance and the chance has been ideal after the suspension, Russia's exclusion from the Council of Europe”.

We see a total lack of cohesion, but also co-ordination in our foreign policy. And such state policy as Kosovo that does not have the power we would like in international reports is a wrong approach. We believe that the sooner our foreign policy would have to be in line with the international policy of our partners beyond the fact that we were on the right line in terms of Russia's unjust war on Ukraine. Nothing else has produced any results. True we can say we have foreign minister but the effects are equal to zero”, he said.

As for economic growth, Krasniqi argued that expectations are that for 2022 it will be 2.9%.

Unfortunately, if there is a word that well defines this government is the inability. This government is the photograph of disability in both foreign policy and domestic politics. Today, there is no sector in Kosovo that can be said to be better than in February 2022. This Government has received civic support and has spent a year and a half of this Government, and the effects on no field are positive. But instead we have either stagnation or regras”.

The economic growth is very small that inflation and expectations for 2022 are that growth may be 2.9%, but inflation will continue to be on the two-digit level. All that has happened is the tendency of populism, such as presenting an employee to each family without giving evidence of how many families have no employees and what will be the cost and effect. They're completely non- competent and also not consistent in what they say”.
