Krasniqi: Government handles water in cafe, doesn't provide drinking water to many areas in Kosovo

Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi has visited Drensi's municipality today, where he is hosted by President Ramiz Ladrovci. As reported in the communiqué, during this visit, Mayor Krasniqi and Chairman Ludrovci have visited several projects that are under way in the Drenas municipality with the municipality's own budget. In Drenas, [...]

In Drenas, Chairman Krasniqi has said he is extremely happy with the work, the commitment and performance of Chairman Ludrovci and his team, something that has already been recognised and rated in turn as best.

At the end of my visits to Kosovo municipalities, today I had the pleasure of visiting Drenas. Along with Mayor Ladrovci we had numerous meetings and discussions, but also visits of projects that are already being implemented. I congratulate Chairman Laddrovci and his team on these projects, despite the challenges they have. Especially from the lack of support from the central government”, Chairman Krasniqi was quoted as saying.

Leader of The PDK said all these works that have been visited are works that were done with the municipal budget and with the good performance grant that was won by Chairman Ladrovci in the past and now.

According to Chairman Memli Krasniqi, this is the problem that is identified in each municipality every day on each visit.

It is necessary to change this government's approach to Kosovo municipalities, because they are the first door of our citizens. To improve their services and well-being, the government must help municipalities with additional means. You saw that they have very important projects, bridges that facilitate the circulation of children and all people. Building the sewage plant, the project that hasn't supported this government. And the project that connects to the pipeline. When we're at water, as a basic need, while the Government of Kosovo makes decisions to force gastronomics to serve water from those who drink coffee, on the other hand, here in Drenas, the same government, is not helping citizens have access to drinking water. A large part of the villages of this municipality have this problem on a daily basis. ”, Chairman Memli Krasniqi said.

On the other hand, Drenasis Chairman Ramiz Ladrovci has thanked Chairman Krasniqi for his visit and his unsurpassed support to push ahead with the good projects of the citizens of Drenas.

“S, along with the Chairman, we visited three projects in our municipality which are currently under way. The recent floods in Drenas have destroyed several bridges, so we're building some and repairing some others. We're also increasing the water supply capacity in our municipality. Meanwhile, we are currently at the site where we are building the sewage collector. Soon we'll be the first municipality to drive the sewage away from the rivers. Many other projects are stuck due to O's malfunction The RPS, but I believe it's going to be better now.

This was PDK Chairman Memli Krasniqi's next visit to his tour of Kosovo municipalities and offering political support for a better government of their citizens.
