Kosovo Police: Shots fired on us, some Albanians were persecuted

Also, police say they have admitted information that several Albanian citizens have been detained and tortured, causing injuries and causing material damage to their vehicles by suspected persons who are allegedly part of roadblocks, writes Periscope.

Kosovo police have provided official information that gunfire have been heard in several locations, where some of the shootings have been in the direction of police units, but fortunately there are no injuries.
Also provided are information on the part of citizens that there are cases where Albanian citizens have been detained and persecuted, causing injuries and causing material damage to their vehicles on the part of suspected persons who are allegedly part of roadblock organisation.

Referring to official information thus far, roadblocks continue at several different locations in northern Mitrovica towards two points of the Jarinje and Bernjak border crossings, which are closed for circulation.
So far, there is no official information about any citizen injuries or any police official, so we invite and appeal to all media and citizens not to fall prey to false information, which tend to destabilise the situation and create panic.
Kosovo police continue their commitments with police units, in offering security to all citizens without differences, in the interest of maintaining order and public safety.

Kosovo police have closed the border for passenger circulation and for vehicles at the Bernjak and Jarinje border crossings, due to roadblocks to these border crossings Jarinje and Bernjak.
All citizens are announced to use other border crossings for circulation.
