The border correction theme has been mentioned several times by senior officials of both states, and recently it has been announced that the relevant commissions will meet to accomplish the jobs on the ground, yet this has not yet happened.

Kosovo MPJD, Montenegro's MPJ hold political consultations
The ministries of foreign affairs of the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Montenegro held political consultations.
Political consultations were held in Podgorica and led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Mr. Kreshnik Ahmeti, and Montenegro's State Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ljubomir Mišurović.
During the meeting, bilateral agreements that are under way for finalisation, the security situation in the region were discussed, co-operation in multilateral dimension, deepening economic ties and joint infrastructure investments.
Deputy Prime Minister Ahmeti announced the Montenegrin delegation for the Kosovo Republic's plans for membership in international organisations, emphasising on the current process of Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe. He thanked Montenegro for unconditional support in this membership process.
Also discussed was security issues and measures both countries have taken, especially after the situation created under the shadow of Russian Federation military aggression against Ukraine. The negative influence of third countries in our region is common concern, and co-operation in fighting it is necessary.
Both sides agreed to engage the respective departments of both ministries for close co-operation in the process of European integrations and for organising joint activities in the field of the economy.
