The incident occurred at a school in the Sagar region where children were given vaccines for Covid-19.
The Indian Health Ministry mandates a protocol for “a needle and a syringe for once” for vaccines against Covid-19.
So far, India has administered more than 2.3 billion vaccines.
Jitendra Rai, the official who vaccinated children, told local media that he was given only one syringe from the health department and that he was only following orders.
The parents who were accompanying their children observed the occasion and reported it to the school authorities.
When state officials arrived at school, Rai had left and his phone was off.
A spokesman from the opposition party has demanded the minister's resignation after the scandal.
India is second to China that has exceeded the figure of two billion vaccines against Avid-19. /Periscopi/
