Infectologist Ramadani warns a new version of the virus, shows whether to have restrictive measures

For the increase of the individuals infected with Covid in Kosovo, the causes and opportunity for restrictive measures has been spoken of by infecter Hamdi Ramadani.

According to him, there are several reasons why the numbers of the infected, which are the arrival of the countrymen, do not vaccinate citizens with anti-Convidian vaccines, and hold tight gatherings and parties.

Unfortunately, now 3 weeks of the country has marked an apparent rise in positive cases with Covid-19, and last week the number of cases has exceeded 100, while today over 200 cases. Why has this happened? Now in progress, fellow countrymen from different parts of the world are coming to Kosovo, and with their arrival in different cities in Kosovo, large gatherings, wedding parties at restaurants, musical evenings, and most of the time these are held in closed environments, and this with many people affects the growth of positive cases with Ovidius. The second is mass immunization, over 70-75 percent of the age of 18, because by this age they are completely unexplored, are not even involved in the vaccine program, which is three doses, and no less. The third reason is not to vaccinate recently, where we have very few cases of citizen vaccination. With three doses, there are 10324 thousand citizens, who are protected by the virus, and we have over 823,700 thousand citizens with 2 doses but who are not even protected by 70 or 80 percent of the virus and a dose of 903440 citizens who are not protected at all. So the defense is only three doses of vaccine. There are a total of over 225 thousand healed citizens and over 3140 cases of death so far during the day we left with 25 vaccinated citizens, so it is disturbing”, Ramadani told Blic newspaper.

He says it is disturbing why citizens are reluctant to vaccinate, until he adds that it should be investigated as if citizens are not being vaccinated, because the vaccine is the best American, certified by competent organisations, and citizens are not being vaccinated with third dose, some with the first and second.

Regarding the possibility of restrictive measures, the infection estimates that if the same trend continues or even more of the increase, general restrictive measures should be imposed, but no police hours or closure.

“As to measures on what needs to be done, I think that the relevant institutions must constantly monitor the epidemiological situation in the country and the region, and that if the trend continues this way, general measures must be taken that will prevent the increase of cases, the maintenance of hygiene, a distance of 1.5 meters, and wearing the mask are necessary but not restrictive as hours of police or such. If this figure increases competent organs you must take general measures

I don't think our country is going to get into a situation if we could catch it last year, August. All the data doesn't make the situation difficult”, consenso Ramdan.

Ramadani argues that as many citizens should be vaccinated, and that competent state health organs should make citizens aware to do so and convince them that the only weapon against the virus is vaccine.

“Two things are important in our country, should be vaccinated by the third dose and greater sensitivity of competent state health organs and medical services for citizens to believe in the vaccine and take it, as the only weapon to suppress the Covid virus in various variants”, Hamdi Ramadani concludes.
