Health Director: Vaccina, best anti-Cavid-19

Increasing the number of cases with David-19 in our country has added to the number of interested people to be tested in Kosovo's cities. For this reason the Health Directorate in the Pristina municipality has decided to open a new test centre for its citizens. So, from today, it is open [...]
Health Director Izet Sadiku has said that the increase in cases has opened this center.
“Of course the increase in cases also affects the increased demand for testing. In the last week we have constantly had an open centre for testing at the Student Centre, but the number of requests has been over 300 constantly. So despite their lack of staff and their annual vacation, we've managed to open a new test center today, along with the Main Centre of Family Medicine. QKMF Number 4 at Xhemajl Ibishi”, highlighted Sadiku in RTK.
He's been saying that since July 6th, when the number of infected people started growing every QKMF has an office that serves citizens who are infected with Covid-19.
Sadiku has said that he has mobilized all forces to manage the pandemic better, as the sanitizer of citizens has said it has helped change the mode of management of pandemic.
The “against the large number, where we have 10,000 active cases in Kosovo, no drastic measures have been taken. The only recommendation is to keep masks indoors and for citizens to be vaccinated. The increase in vaccine has contributed to a comfort, for it is seen that the clinical form we have today contrasts with what it was a year or two ago. It has been proven that already citizens who have been vaccinated are far easier to pass the virus, so it is very important to continue with the vaccinating of citizens”, Sadiku added.
He has then said that vaccine continues to be the best means of preventing the virus until he said it has also affected the smallest number of fatal patients.
The variable that is being circulated now spreads faster but provides easier clinical forms. This is because the virus's attitude is more in the hollow of the mouth and does not penetrate the lungs. So, even a dose of vaccine if taken has offered some kind of immunity”, Sadiku underlined.
At the level of the country in Kosovo are only 45 per cent of the citizens vaccinated against Avid-19, so Sadiku has demanded that there be a more sensitive campaign so that people can be conscious of being vaccinated for their benefit and society in general.
