Government: On August 1st, citizens of Serbia entering Kosovo are provided with access-out documents

From Monday, citizens of Serbia who enter Kosovo will be equipped with a “access/ex1>.

Through an Albanian and Serbian-language statement, the Kosovo Government shows that Serbian citizens, from August 1st, as soon as they enter Kosovo, will be equipped with a “input/ex1> document.

“Based in the Government's decision from its 85th meeting, we remind you that from August 1st 2022, any person represented for the crossing of the state border of the Republic of Kosovo with personal identification documents issued by Serbia's authorities will be equipped with the Entrance/Dalje” document, the Government announced.

With that, Kosovo within its territory undermines documents issued by Serbian authorities as a reciprocity measure against the state, which does not recognise the identification documents issued by Kosovo.
