The study on World Population Day revealed that the rate of slowing mortar means that the population will reach 8 billion in just four months, 8.5 billion by 2030, and 10.4 billion by 2100.
Population growth was increasing at the lowest rate since 1950, dropping below 1% in 2020, showed the United Nations measurements.
On the other hand, India is expected to pass China as the world's largest population in 2023, with the two countries numbering more than 1.4 billion this year -- but the United Nations has warned that high levels of fertility would challenge economic growth. /Periscopi/
