From the Decani Monastery, through an account at Tutter, have again reacted to a statement by Decani historians about the safety of the monastery there.

“Continued reporting of a group that calls itself Decanit's history, despite four armed attacks in the past years on our monastery, and also the continued denial of our rights guaranteed by the Constitutional Court and the laws of Kosovo, are the best indications that we are at risk of”.

Decan's branch of historians, Shkodran Imeraj, through a reaction sent to the media, has said that the Decani Monastery is an honor to the most secure countries in Kosovo, as the location and area around it provide NATO Alliance forces. He says the monastery's risk lies with its leader, Sava Janjiq.

“Cyllations of the non-governmental organisation (OJQ) “Europepa Nostra”, for the risk of the Decani Monastery, are not sustainable. The NGO “Europe Nostra”, should know that the Decani Monastery, from its construction until today, has been preserved and secured by local Albanian residents. So the Decani Monastery is not endangered by Albanians. That monument is threatened only by the malicious policy of its leader, Igument Sava Janjiq”, said in response.

These youth clashes after representatives of the Government of Kosovo met with representatives of the organisation “Europa Nostra”, which had considered the Decani Monastery” as one of the most endangered religious objects in Europe in 2021.
