During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi used the opportunity to congratulate Ambassador Minxhozi on the historic decision to open membership negotiations on the European Union of the Republic of Albania, along with Northern Macedonia.
This step marks an important decision for the future of the Western Balkans towards the European Union, which Kosovo fully supports and enjoys the success of the Republic of Albania and Northern Macedonia.
Acceleration of the integration process is vital for the European perspective of the Western Balkans. Ambassador Minxhozi thanked Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi for his congratulations, saying he hopes there will soon be concrete steps for visa liberalisation for Kosovo.
