US Embassy in Tirana Has Shared President's Word Joe Biden for the 246th anniversary of the United States Independence Day.
I've long said America is unique! Unlike any nation on Earth, we were founded on an idea. We consider these truths as self - evident: All humans are created equal, endowed by their Creator with certain infallible rights between them, life, freedom, and the pursuit of happiness.
And while we have never fully attained those words, we have never given up on them. They continue to inspire us and remind us of what we as Americans, in our best interests, believe: we, Americans, we believe in honesty and courtesy, in treating all with dignity and respect, in giving an equal opportunity to all, by not threatening anyone, by creating no safe place for hatred and leaving no one behind.
We lead by the power of our example, not by example of our power. We're part of something much bigger than us. We stand as a beacon to the world. That's who we are. Happy Independence Day, President Biden said.
